  1. cautionNOTICE: Make sure that the steering column lock is engaged.

    NOTE: Make sure that the road wheels are in the straight ahead position.

  1. NOTICE:

    caution Make sure that the ball joint ball does not rotate.

    caution Do not over-articulate (exceed +/- 28?) the ball joints while handling the part in assembly/service process.

    caution Do not apply loads (do not lift/bend/lean on the part nor let it dangle) with only one of two ball joints attached to suspension, to avoid over-articulation.

Installation

  1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
  1. cautionNOTICE: Stabilizer bar rubber bushes are grease-sensitive. Make sure bushes are always installed in dry condition.

    NOTE: This step is only necessary when installing a new component.

    NOTE: Make sure that the mating faces are clean and free of foreign material.

    NOTE: Make sure that these components are installed to the noted removal position.

  1. Torque: 48 Nm

    1. NOTE: Make sure that new bolts are installed.
